Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t resist expressing her love for costar Amanda Seyfried<\/strong><\/a> while filming their new movie, The Housemaid<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Euphoria<\/em><\/a> star, 28, revealed on the Monday, December 1, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/a> that she is a huge fan of Seyfried\u2019s role as Sophie in Mamma Mia!<\/em>, which is based on the hit ABBA-themed musical of the same name.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid I know Amanda before this? I\u2019m obsessed with her,\u201d Sweeny responded<\/a> when host Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> asked if she knew Seyfried, 39, before working together. \u201cShe knows how much I am with her. I am like the biggest Mamma Mia!<\/em> fan.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, when they got together on the set of The Housemaid<\/em>, Sweeney said she even coaxed her Oscar-nominated costar to film a \u201cfun little TikTok video together,\u201d prompting Fallon to play a clip of the duo singing along to ABBA\u2019s \u201cAngeleyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSydney Sweeney appears to have some involvement in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Sweeney, 27, was reportedly spotted on the set of the sequel in New York City on Wednesday, August 6. Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci have reprised their roles as they star in the follow-up movie. The Devil Wears [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAll my dreams came true!\u201d Sweeney said of her collaboration with Seyfried. \u201cIt was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll play Mamma Mia!<\/em> \u2026 My girlfriends and I were on a trip, and we were in Africa, and I was playing the song, we were dancing on the beach, and I sent a video to Amanda, and I was like, \u2018You are forever my icon.\u2019 Like, I love her,\u201d Sweeney continued.<\/p>\n

In The Housemaid<\/em>, based on Freida McFadden<\/strong>\u2019s 2022 novel<\/a> of the same name and directed by A Simple Favor<\/em> filmmaker Paul Feig<\/strong>, Sweeney stars as Millie, a troubled live-in housemaid for wealthy couple Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar<\/strong>). Millie quickly discovers that all is not what it seems in the couple\u2019s apparently perfect household.<\/p>\n

Seyfried also recently sang Sweeney\u2019s praises, putting her name forward for a role in a potential Mamma Mia! 3<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSydney Sweeney could show up. There\u2019s a bunch of girls that really want to be a part of it, and I\u2019m all for it,\u201d Seyfried told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> in November about a prospective sequel.<\/p>\n

While Mamma Mia! 3<\/em> has not officially been confirmed, Seyfried said, \u201cMaybe I\u2019m just naive, but I\u2019m pretty sure Mamma Mia! 3<\/em> is a done deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
