Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> made a fiery red carpet appearance at the Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/em><\/a> world premiere, with boyfriend Maxx Morando<\/strong> joining her for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Cyrus, 33, cozied up to Morando on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Monday, December 1, wearing a sparkly black mermaid dress. Morando, 27, wore a black suit and a white shirt for the premiere.<\/p>\n

The singer and actress joined visionary director James Cameron<\/strong> and the Avatar<\/em> cast \u2014 which includes Zoe Salda\u00f1a<\/strong> and Sigourney Weaver<\/strong> \u2014 on the red carpet Monday night due to her own involvement in the film. Cyrus provides the vocals for the movie\u2019s lead soundtrack song, \u201cDream as One.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHonored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/em> with an original song I\u2019ve written with Mark Ronson<\/strong> and Andrew Wyatt<\/strong>,\u201d Cyrus wrote in an Instagram<\/a> post in October announcing the song. \u201cHaving been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film\u2019s themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSomething to sing about! Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando\u2019s relationship is heating up. The two musicians were first romantically linked after they were spotted dancing at Miley\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve Party special in January 2022. During the broadcast, which she cohosted with Pete Davidson, Cyrus sang a new track titled \u201cYou,\u201d which many fans believe [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cyrus and Morando, meanwhile, were first linked in late 2021 and have been going strong ever since, though they have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Cyrus joked about the couple\u2019s nearly six-year age gap<\/a> during an appearance on the \u201cSorry We\u2019re Cyrus\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will be 27 when I turn 33, which I\u2019m so excited for him to turn 27 \u2018cause that was such a great year for me,\u201d Cyrus said in June.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just hoping that, as long as he follows in my footsteps, everything is going to be great,\u201d she continued to joke. \u201cThat\u2019s right when I started turning my life around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus said that the couple\u2019s chemistry owes itself, in part, to their compatible star signs.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a Scorpio and so is his grandfather, that\u2019s what makes Maxx just so cool because he can sting. Like, [Scorpios are] very cool, think that they\u2019re little angels, until it turns around and they got a sting,\u201d she said. \u201cI couldn\u2019t be with someone [who] doesn\u2019t sting. They would have been toast already.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus also opened up about their age difference<\/a> in a November 2024 interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe looks at life really differently than I do,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cHonestly, he\u2019s raised our dog off Reddit. I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you sure we\u2019re supposed to be doing this?\u2019 And he\u2019s like, \u2018On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s very similar to me. We just don\u2019t take life too seriously,\u201d she added of Morando, who is drummer for the rock band Liily.<\/p>\n
