Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about switching up the cast of Vanderpump Rules<\/strong><\/a><\/em>! <\/p>\n The restaurateur is introducing a whole new cast for the Bravo<\/strong><\/a> show\u2019s upcoming 12th season, and dished in an interview about making that decision and if any of the original stars could have returned.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think we all understood, because I was always absolutely certain that I didn\u2019t want to go down on a sinking ship. I didn\u2019t want the stories to start to kind of fade. I think it was time, we all agreed, it was time to move on, because the restaurant is still here, I\u2019m still here,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s just they all moved on, their lives were all fractured. Some of them didn\u2019t want to film with each other, so it became much more produced and trying to work it out. So, we thought, \u2018Let\u2019s do it again, but let\u2019s do it totally differently.\u2019 Different people, different energy. Gen Z\u2019s very different, the world has moved on in a lot of ways, since we first started Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. So, things are very different.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if there was ever any conversation of keeping any of the cast, Lisa<\/strong> noted that it was \u201call or nothing,\u201d and anyone who really wanted to keep filming is now on The Valley<\/strong><\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t want to do anything half-hearted, and I think it was a moment where we thought we\u2019ve got a great group of people with the existing friendships at the restaurant, the network saw them, and there were stories that were happening,\u201d she said. \u201cWhat I find very interesting about this [new] group of people is they\u2019ve got a lot of strong personal stories that they bring to the equation.\u201d<\/p>\n LVP<\/strong> also revealed that she initially wanted to change the theme song for the opening title sequence, but felt it was important to keep it. <\/p>\n \u201cI thought, \u2018No, let\u2019s give it a total different look,\u2019 but then nothing felt as right. We started changing the beats and changing the tempo, and it didn\u2019t feel as right,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s something about that song, and when it plays, it gives me goosebumps. We made different choices, but it all feels very now.\u201d <\/p>\n Vanderpump Rules<\/em> season 12 is set to debut THIS Tuesday (December 2) at 9pm ET\/PT on Bravo, and streaming next day on Peacock.
