90 Day Fianc\u00e9<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Elizabeth Castravet<\/strong> shared an emotional update after the death of her father, Chuck Potthast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, November 29, Elizabeth, 35, posted a video of her and husband<\/a>, Andrei Castravet<\/strong>, posing for photos in a field with their two children and added a caption that detailed her grief. \u201cI\u2019ve never had to navigate something quite as difficult as grief before. Andrei and I are doing everything in our power to make sure our kids remain happy and on a normal routine. I try to think of doing the things we normally do but then catch myself feeling guilty along the way,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI try to smile and feel better but honestly deep down I\u2019m hurting.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then asked fans to share advice on recommended coping methods, telling a fan who lost her own father and remained in shock for a year, \u201cI am in shock still [too], that is true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chuck, who appeared on the TLC reality show alongside his daughter\u2019s family as well as his own extended clan, died last month<\/a>. Elizabeth and Andrei, 39, shared the news via a joint Instagram post on November 23. \u201cTwo weeks ago, tragedy struck our family and it has left us completely shattered. My sweet, loving, and caring dad went to heaven. We\u2019re trying to figure out how to navigate our lives and move forward without him,\u201d the couple, married in 2017 and share a daughter, Eleanor, and a son, Winston, together, wrote. \u201cPlease respect our privacy during this extremely difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m very happy to have you back.\u201d Elizabeth, despite her husband\u2019s claims, said [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Elizabeth engaged with several fans who commented on her most recent post, telling one who suggested that she \u201cput together photo albums with his photos in it\u201d that it was \u201ca good idea.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another fan suggested that Elizabeth turn to \u201ctrusting that he is in a better place,\u201d to which she responded, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two days after Elizabeth and Andrei\u2019s announcement was posted, Andrei shared his own tribute<\/a> to his late father-in-law. \u201cIt\u2019s been incredibly, incredibly tough for us,\u201d Andrei told the camera in a video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 25. \u201cI know there\u2019s been drama, tensions and story lines over the years, but what people saw on TV is just a tiny portion of our real relationship. What I can say is Chuck genuinely loved filming. He loved the energy, he loved the excitement, he really did. The connection of all of us \u2026 he loved people in general.\u201d<\/p>\n
