She was 25.<\/p>\n Ram\u00edrez\u2019s motorcycle reportedly collided with a truck on a highway in Floridablanca, Colombia, on Wednesday, November 26, according to local newspaper Metr\u00f3poles<\/i><\/a>. The outlet reported that Ram\u00edrez lost control of her bike, which subsequently collided laterally with a Chevrolet Spark. Ram\u00edrez was then reportedly run over by a truck also traveling along the highway.<\/p>\n Ram\u00edrez was pronounced dead on the scene, per local reports, and the incident is still under investigation.<\/p>\n \u201cThe most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was traveling between two vehicles,\u201d transport official Jahir Andres<\/strong> told the Daily Mail<\/a> <\/i>in a Saturday, November 29, statement, referring to what is often called \u201clane splitting.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis situation will be subject to an investigation,\u201d Andres said. \u201cThe Prosecutor\u2019s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident. We will carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, and analyze the CCTV footage.\u201d<\/p>\n Just hours before Ram\u00edrez\u2019s death<\/a>, she shared a social media message about her now-final ride.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m hoping I don\u2019t crash, because I\u2019m riding without my glasses,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Stories, per Metr\u00f3poles.<\/i><\/p>\n Ram\u00edrez, best known as \u201cBiker Girl Karen,\u201d had more than 31,000 followers on Instagram at the time of her death.
