Stranger Things<\/em> fans, are you doing OK? Season 5 is coming soon, and we\u2019re getting a little worried about our favorite characters. That being said, we gathered all of the season 5 fan theories so you don\u2019t have to \u2026 and so you\u2019re prepared for what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n It was revealed in April 2022 that season 5 will be the last\u00a0Stranger Things<\/em>\u00a0season\u00a0ever.\u00a0<\/em>The Duffer Brothers, cocreators of the show, spoke about season 5 during a July 2021 interview on \u201cHappy Sad Confused\u201d<\/a> podcast. They also revealed that they expect the series finale to be \u201cat least two hours.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe only reason we don\u2019t expect it to be as long is because if you look at it, it\u2019s almost a two-hour ramp-up before our kids really get drawn into the supernatural mystery,\u201d Matt Duffer revealed. \u201cYou get to know them, you get to see them in their lives, what they\u2019re struggling with, adapting to high school, and so forth. Steve\u2019s trying to find a date, all of that. None of that obviously is going to be occurring in the first two episodes of [Season 5].\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFor the first time ever, we don\u2019t wrap things up at the end of [Season] 4, so it\u2019s going to be moving,\u201d Matt continued. \u201cI don\u2019t know that it\u2019s going to be going 100 miles an hour at the start of 5, but it\u2019s going to be moving pretty fast. Characters are already going to be in action. They\u2019re already going to have a goal and a drive, and I think that\u2019s going to carve out at least a couple hours and make this season feel really different.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n They also revealed that the OG Hawkins squad will reunite for season 5. \u201cWe wanna go back to a lot of the things we did in Season 1,\u201d Matt said. \u201cA lot of the original groupings and pairings that we had in season 1 \u2013 there\u2019s something nice about coming full circle.\u201d<\/p>\n Ross Duffer added, \u201cWhile a lot of season 5 is actually pretty blurry, the last 30 minutes of it are pretty clear in our heads. So if we can make the journey entertaining, I think that we have an end that will hopefully satisfy. You can\u2019t satisfy everyone, but the hope is that it\u2019s something that feels right for this story.\u201d<\/p>\n
