New court documents suggest that Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a> allegedly witnessed Ryan Reynolds<\/strong> confronting Justin Baldoni<\/strong> over the filmmaker\u2019s treatment of Blake Lively<\/strong> on the It Ends With Us<\/em> set.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, November 27, People<\/em><\/a> cited an unsealed exhibit in the ongoing legal battle between Baldoni, 41, and Lively, 38, which includes a timeline that Baldoni\u2019s Wayfarer Studios co-founder Jamey Heath<\/strong> allegedly sent to the director\u2019s publicist in July 2024.<\/p>\n

According to this timeline, Reynolds, 49, \u201cunloaded\u201d on Baldoni at his New York City penthouse on April 25, 2023 for allegedly asking about Lively\u2019s weight. The Deadpool<\/em> actor complained about Baldoni \u201cfat shaming Blake,\u201d after which Baldoni allegedly felt \u201ccompletely embarrassed and apologized and even shared some tears,\u201d according to the court document.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The] confrontation by Reynolds and Lively was so aggressive that Baldoni felt he had no choice but to offer repeated (and completely unwarranted) apologies,\u201d Baldoni\u2019s lawyers alleged.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBlake Lively\u2018s ongoing legal drama with Justin Baldoni took an unexpected turn by pulling in Taylor Swift. After costarring in It Ends With Us together, Lively sued Baldoni in December 2024 accusing her costar and director of of sexual harassment and orchestrating an alleged smear campaign. In her filing, Lively claimed that Baldoni named Swift [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The exhibit specifically mentions that Swift, 35, and Jackman, 57, \u2014 who are longtime friends of Reynolds and Lively \u2014 were \u201calso present in the [apartment] at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out for comment from the parties mentioned in these new court documents.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em><\/a> previously cited a source close to the situation in February who said that Swift arrived at Lively and Reynolds\u2019 penthouse without knowing about the couple\u2019s intention to meet with Baldoni.<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin was about to leave after the 2-hour meeting as Taylor walked in, and she was introduced to him for the first and only time,\u201d the insider told TMZ.<\/p>\n

Swift reportedly expressed her excitement about It Ends With Us<\/em> to Baldoni \u201cbecause he was her friend\u2019s boss,\u201d according to the source.<\/p>\n

Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and lost wages in December 2024. Baldoni has denied all of Lively\u2019s allegations \u2014 and countersued in January, though his suit was later dismissed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As part of her lawsuit, Lively alleged that Baldoni found \u201cback-channel ways of criticizing her body and weight\u201d while filming It Ends With Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLively was humiliated to learn that Mr. Baldoni secretly called her fitness trainer without her knowledge or permission, and implied that he wanted her to lose weight in two weeks,\u201d the actress\u2019s attorneys alleged in her lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Baldoni\u2019s lawyers later countered that he\u2019d only reached out to Lively\u2019s trainer because he\u2019d have to lift her in an It Ends With Us<\/em> scene \u2014 and he was allegedly worried about aggravating a longstanding back injury.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Swift has repeatedly tried to distance herself from the case. Baldoni\u2019s lawyers previously released a text message from the filmmaker to Lively, which referenced Swift in connection with It Ends With Us<\/em>\u2019 infamous rooftop scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas working on rooftop scene today, I really love what you did. It really does hep [sic] a lot,\u201d he purportedly wrote. \u201cMakes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor). You really are a talent across the board. Really excited nd [sic] grateful to do this together.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Swift was formally subpoenaed by Baldoni\u2019s attorneys in May, her spokesperson insisted the singer \u201cnever set foot on the set of\u201d It Ends With Us<\/em>, nor did she make \u201ccasting or creative decisions,\u201d beyond allowing her song \u201cMy Tears Ricochet\u201d to be used in the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film,\u201d her rep told Us<\/em> on May 9, 2025. \u201cShe did not even see It Ends With Us<\/em> until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her spokesperson added, \u201cGiven that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift\u2019s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.\u201d<\/p>\n
