The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in May 2024 before enjoying a bigger celebration later in the year, and the Stranger Things hitmaker enjoyed a special moment on the dancefloor with her father thanks to the Escapism hitmaker.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the Dish podcast, Millie said: \u201cRaye performed, which was amazing.<\/p>\n
“She performed my dad and I\u2019s daddy-daughter dance. She did all Frank Sinatra, it was amazing, so epic.”<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old actress previously revealed she and Jake, 23, had performed a Grease-themed dance routine at the receptionand she’s now admitted she started planning the musical moment as soon as they got engaged.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI grew up doing so dance routines at pretty much any family gathering.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, when Jake proposed, I was like, \u201cWe have to learn a dance routine.\u2019 We\u2019ll remember it forever and when the song comes on when we\u2019re 80, we\u2019ll just remember the dance, it\u2019s gonna be so special for us.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, I got us dance lessons. And originally, we were going to do Dirty Dancing and I was like, \u201cOh my God, if you get that routine wrong. It\u2019s too much.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy favourite movie is Grease 2. We did a Grease medley of songs. It was probably a six-minute dance. <\/p>\n
\n“People were like, \u2018Oh my God you can tell she\u2019s an actor.\u2019 It was amazing.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAnd the couple – who adopted a baby girl in August – have since displayed their moves again.<\/p>\n
\nThe Enola Holmes actress said: \u201cThe other night, Jake and I were at a bar, and it goes, ‘You\u2019re the one that I want’. And Jake goes right into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMillie’s Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine officiated the ceremony and he previously told of how he was “surprised” by how emotional he found himself as the couple exchanged vows.<\/p>\n
\nHe told Vanity Fair magazine: \u201cIt was absolutely sublime.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was surprised how emotional I became during the vows. I\u2019d been witness to so much of Millie\u2019s private life and her professional career\u2014and I\u2019d seen her grow from that adorable child into a beautiful and thoughtful adult.<\/p>\n
\n“I was with her when she first met young Jake. And now she\u2019s beginning a whole new life with such a kind man.\u201d<\/p>\n
