Megan Moroney cancelled her vacation in order to perform with Ed Sheeran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Megan Moroney relished performing with Ed Sheeran<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old singer had holiday plans in place, but Megan decided to make a last-minute cancellation because Ed called her and offered to perform with her.<\/p>\n

Megan told People: “He wanted me to play the Bluebird Cafe with him in Nashville, and I thought it was a joke.”<\/p>\n

The singer was supposed to go on vacation that weekend – but Megan didn’t hesitate before cancelling her plans.<\/p>\n

The blonde beauty – who ended up performing at the Bluebird Cafe with Ed, who hosted a writers’ round – said: “I ended up cancelling the vacation, because I’m like, ‘When Ed Sheeran<\/a> calls and wants you to play a show with him, you drop everything.'”<\/p>\n

\nMegan also heaped praise on Ed, observing that in spite of his superstar status, he’s actually remained very humble.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “He’s just so down to earth, kind and talented, and he was talking to me about how his kids [Lyra Antarctica, five, and Jupiter, three] and his wife [Cherry Seaborn] are big fans [of mine].”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, Ed recently confessed that he was “intensely unhappy” in the first decade of his career.<\/p>\n

\nThe pop star admitted that he had “no balance” in his life, as he put his music over his personal happiness for years.<\/p>\n

\nEd told The Sun newspaper: “I think in the first decade of my career I was intensely unhappy as I had no \u00adbalance, I was just work, work, work.<\/p>\n

\n“And yes, everything was hyper-successful, but it was hyper-successful because I had no personal life at all.<\/p>\n

\n“Work was everything. I think \u00adfinding that balance with getting married, having a family, living around my friends…<\/p>\n

\n“Being able to spend time with my friends and family \u2014 that has now become 70 per cent of my life, and work is like 30 per cent.<\/p>\n

\n“Before, it was 100 per cent and zero anything else.<\/p>\n

\n“The balance of getting to exist as a human being rather than just a pop star machine \u2014 that would be my measure of success.”<\/p>\n
