Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> shared a rare update on how she\u2019s feeling following her split from husband Keith Urban<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a conversation with Ariana Grande<\/strong> for Interview Magazine<\/em><\/a>, Kidman, 58, said, \u201cI\u2019m hanging in there,\u201d when Grande, 32, asked how she was doing. While the interview was published on Monday, November 24, the chat took place on October 19. Weeks earlier, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, also 58, on September 30 after 19 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

Later in the Interview<\/em> conversation, Kidman gushed about filming Practical Magic 2<\/em> over the summer in London with costars Sandra Bullock<\/strong>, Maisie Williams<\/strong> and Joey King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt was just very, very safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNicole Kidman and Keith Urban were \u201cworking\u201d on their marriage years before splitting up, according to the Oscar-winning actress. Kidman, 58, opened up about their partnership in an interview for the September 2021 issue of Harper\u2019s Bazaar, telling the magazine, \u201cWe\u2019re always working through stuff, but it\u2019s very much love-based, so there\u2019s an enormous amount [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While much of the conversation was focused on Grande\u2019s role in Wicked: For Good<\/em>, she and Kidman also traded stories about what it was like to become famous at a young age.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a tricky adjustment period in the very beginning, when my pop career took off the way that it did,\u201d said Grande, who released her debut album, Yours Truly<\/em>, in 2013 at age 20. \u201cAnd I hope this doesn\u2019t sound ungrateful, but it\u2019s just a big adjustment when your life changes in that very drastic way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kidman, meanwhile, rose to fame in the U.S. after starring in 1990\u2019s Days of Thunder<\/em> opposite future husband Tom Cruise, from whom she split in 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, you\u2019re very young, and then suddenly you\u2019re put into this fishbowl and everything is dissected,\u201d the Oscar winner recalled of her early days in Hollywood. \u201cIt starts to get very, very difficult, and then you overthink it and then you get scared and then you get hurt, and then you go, \u2018Now I don\u2019t want to go out. I don\u2019t want to venture into this world.\u2019 I get it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt\u2019s just a constant push-pull. But I think that exists for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban, who share daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, tied the knot in 2006<\/a> after a whirlwind romance. (Kidman also shares daughter Bella, 32, and son Connor, 30, with Cruise, 63.)<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed their split<\/a> on September 29, and Kidman filed for divorce one day later, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup. She also submitted a potential parenting plan, child support plan and \u201cparenting seminar order.\u201d<\/p>\n
