Maxton Hall\u2014The World Between Us<\/em> stars Harriet Herbig-Matten<\/strong> and Damian Hardung<\/strong> teased that their characters\u2019 romance is about to get spicier than ever in the remainder of season 2 during an exclusive interview with Life & Style<\/em>.<\/p>\n Before the season 2 finale airs on Prime Video on Friday, November 28, Herbig-Matten, 22, and Hardung, 27, reflected on their characters\u2019 Ruby and James hot and heavy dynamic once they decided to give their relationship a real try.<\/p>\n When asked to tease the upcoming episodes, both Herbig-Matten and Hardung agreed that things will get \u201cspicy\u201d between James and Ruby<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s getting spicy in the beginning of episode 5,\u201d Herbig-Matten said, noting that their characters were in the middle of a passionate kiss before James\u2019 father, Mortimer (Fedja van Hu\u00eat<\/strong>), returned to the family\u2019s home.<\/p>\n During episode 6, Mortimer ended up storming in on the couple and stopping them from going much further than kissing. \u201cThey\u2019ve always been interrupted. It was not on my bucket list.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe car crash was really surprising,\u201d Herbig-Matten agreed.<\/p>\n While Maxton Hall<\/em> is a German show, the series has earned a loyal international fan base<\/a>. During the interview with Life & Style<\/em>, the actors also shared their real thoughts about fans\u2019 intense reactions to their characters\u2019 decisions.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fun part is, like, because they are so invested in a character, and they know the character so well, at a certain point they start questioning your choices,\u201d Hardung said about the fans\u2019 thoughts regarding storylines. \u201cWhich is great because you\u2019re suddenly in that realm of, you know, having a discussion. They\u2019re like, \u2018Why would you do that? James would do something different.\u2019 You were like, \u2018I\u2019m sorry. I mean, I played this character for like, one and a half years. Are there differences that can think across borders as well? And to have that conversation is also really interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n
