\t\t<\/p>\n The cast of Everybody Loves Raymond<\/strong><\/a><\/em> just reunited for a 30th anniversary special, but don\u2019t expect them to get together for a reboot series in the future.<\/p>\n Ray Romano<\/strong><\/a> noted during the special that a reboot will never happen and there\u2019s an emotional reason why it won\u2019t ever come together.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLet\u2019s get one thing out of the way \u2014 this is a reunion,\u201d Ray <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n Series creator Phil Rosenthal<\/strong> added, \u201cNot a reboot.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re never going to do one, because we\u2019re missing three castmembers, three family members. We\u2019d never try to do the show without them,\u201d Ray <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n Phil<\/strong> chimed in, \u201cIt wouldn\u2019t be the same. We have too much respect for the show itself and for the beautiful audience. \u2026 And thankfully, the show is still on every day, all over the world.\u201d <\/p>\n Doris Roberts<\/strong><\/a> and Peter Boyle<\/strong><\/a>, who played Ray<\/strong>\u2018s parents on the show, died in 2016 and 2006, respectively.<\/p>\n Sawyer Sweeten<\/strong><\/a>, who played one of Ray<\/strong>\u2018s kids on the show, tragically passed away in 2015<\/a> at the age of 19. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
