The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em><\/a> alum Meghan King<\/strong><\/a> shared a cryptic post about supporting \u201chuman rights\u201d after losing custody of her three kids to her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig fan of human rights,\u201d reads an image King, 41, shared on her Instagram Stories<\/a> on Sunday, November 23, tagging the location as Kirkwood, Missouri.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> broke the news on Wednesday, November 19, that King had lost custody of the three children<\/a> she shares with Edmonds \u2014 8-year-old daughter Aspen and 7-year-old twin boys Hart and Hayes \u2014 following an investigation by Child Protective Services.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources told Us<\/em> that the decision was made in the last couple of months, but the Bravo star retains supervised visitation rights with the minors. Edmonds, 55, has sole physical custody of the three children.<\/p>\n

A source told Us<\/em> that the decision is temporary pending a hearing to determine whether the custody arrangement will become permanent. A hearing is scheduled for December to determine further custody arrangements. (Edmonds declined to comment to Us<\/em> last week, while King did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)<\/p>\n

King and Edmonds were married from 2014 to 2019. Edmonds filed for divorce from the former reality television star in October 2019, one day after the couple\u2019s fifth wedding anniversary. The exes finalized their divorce in 2021 and Edmonds married his current wife, Kortnie O\u2019Connor<\/strong>, in September 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMeghan King is a reality TV personality, real estate advisor and mother of three. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum married former baseball pro Jim Edmonds in 2014. They went on to welcome daughter Aspen via IVF in 2016, followed by twin sons Hart and Hayes in 2018. (Through her marriage to Edmonds, King [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

King and her ex have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. Most recently, police were called to Edmonds\u2019 home in Missouri in May after the RHOC<\/em> alum allegedly entered the couple\u2019s abode<\/a> without permission.<\/p>\n

At the time, King told police officers that Edmonds was \u201cemotionally abusive\u201d<\/a> toward her, something he denied in a statement<\/a> to Us<\/em> in September.<\/p>\n

The former couple tied the knot in 2014. Shortly after their nuptials, King, who is 14 years younger than Edmonds, joined the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County. \u201cAs usual, Meghan is telling tales. Her and Jim barely communicate, so if someone is emotionally abusing her, it\u2019s not Jim,\u201d a rep for the former baseball center told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJim is an active and present father to all his children. The unfortunate part of all this is that it\u2019s the kids who suffer the most. Jim has always been willing to coparent in a respectful and productive way, however Meghan has yet to reciprocate,\u201d the rep added.<\/p>\n

RHOC<\/em> star Tamra Judge<\/strong>, 58, recently weighed in on the news of King losing custody of her children<\/a>, commenting on an Instagram post, \u201cThoughts and prayers \u2764\ufe0f you\u2019re an amazing mom.\u201d (King and Judge shared the screen from seasons 10 to 12.)<\/p>\n

Fellow RHOC<\/em> alum Kelly Dodd<\/strong> reacted<\/a> to the news in a TikTok video, calling King \u201can excellent mother.\u201d<\/p>\n
