In October, the incursion seemed inevitable<\/a>\u2014that is, until a couple oligarchs, including billionaire Salesforce founder Marc Benioff<\/strong> and billionaire Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang<\/strong>, called Trump and told him to stand down<\/a>. Trump complied<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the things that President Trump is really good at is he\u2019s a really good listener,\u201d Huang told the SF Chronicle<\/em><\/a> about the call. \u201cIf you appeal to him, logically, pragmatically, with common sense, he will listen.\u201d Benioff’s Mamdami-aligned creds have recently taken a beating<\/a>, but it wasn\u2019t that long ago that he backed<\/a> a hefty tax on large corporations to generate funds to fight homelessness. And Benioff was<\/em> a White House guest<\/a> on Tuesday, at the president’s dinner to fete Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. An ideal time, perhaps, to take the president aside and suggest a warm and friendly approach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
