Oliver Hudson<\/a> told Us Weekly magazine in an interview carried out before his mom’s birthday: \u201cWe would have done anything for her.<\/p>\n\u201cTotally up to her. [If] she wanted to go to the moon, we\u2019d figure it out, but she\u2019s a simple gal.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe wants her family, and that\u2019s it, and that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing now.<\/p>\n
\n“We have a lot of fun things planned within that she doesn\u2019t know about, but we are just going to keep it [to family].\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, the 49-year-old actor – who has Wilder, 18, Bodhi, 15, and Rio, 12, with wife Erinn Bartlett – revealed he, sister Kate Hudson, 46, half-brother Wyatt Russell, and Goldie’s partner Kurt Russell had plenty of activities planned to celebrate the occasion.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cWe\u2019ve got some golf tournament things, we\u2019ve got some cooks, [and] we might have some music. <\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019ve got some stuff, but the patrons will be just the family.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOliver’s sister Kate took to Instagram to pay tribute to her “truly extraordinary” mom on her birthday.<\/p>\n
\nSharing a series of throwback photos with Goldie, the How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days star wrote: \u201cBirthday Love<\/p>\n
\n“To distill half of her life that I\u2019ve known into a single caption feels impossible. I have been the lucky recipient of novels of love and wisdom from her. She is truly extraordinary and as I celebrate her everyday, today we all get to share in it! Please join me in wishing a huge Happy Birthday to this 80 year old queen goddess!<\/p>\n
\n“We love you Mama (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nSupermodel Karlie Kloss hailed Goldie a “queen goddess” in the comments of her friend’s post, while actress Rita Wilson wrote: \u201cScorpio sister Goldie!!!! So much love and thanks.(sic)”<\/p>\n
\nOliver previously admitted he couldn’t “fathom” life without his mother.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on his and Kate’s Sibling Revelry podcast, he said: \u201cI don\u2019t know who I would be without my mother. I can\u2019t even fathom it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe love that I have for her and the respect and the reverence that I have for her is beyond anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
