Dallas Cowboys<\/a> wide receiver CeeDee Lamb<\/strong> isn\u2019t denying that he broke team rules, leading to his and teammate George Pickens<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 benching at the start of the team\u2019s Monday Night Football game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, November 17.<\/p>\n

But he doesn\u2019t want you to believe the rumors circulating on social media that he was spotted outside a casino at 7:30 the morning of the game, throwing up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a disrespect to even suggest that,\u201d Lamb, 26, told reporters<\/a> on Thursday. \u201cI know how to hold my liquor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamb did admit that he and Pickens, 24, were out \u201ca little late, after curfew.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has responded after his team\u2019s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles turned into a spitting contest. Before the first snap of the game between the storied rivals on Thursday, September 4, Eagles star defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Prescott.\u00a0 \u201cOne of the officials observed [Carter] spitting [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Regardless of the pair\u2019s whereabouts in the early morning hours of their game day, it doesn\u2019t seem like their actions had much of an impact on their performances. Lamb had 66 receiving yards and a touchdown in Dallas\u2019 33-16 win, while Pickens had 144 yards and a touchdown of his own.<\/p>\n

After the game, Lamb refused to go into detail about his benching, telling reporters, \u201cI\u2019m not going in-depth on that. Honestly, I\u2019m not. I\u2019m sorry, I\u2019m not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer<\/strong> only told reporters \u201cthere were some things that were missed,\u201d but later praised both players for their on-field performances.<\/p>\n

\u201cSign me up. I mean, what do you say? Those two guys, I just love their relationship, man. I love the firepower that they give us,\u201d said Schottenheimer, 52. \u201cThat\u2019s one of those games where you never know which one it\u2019s going to be. Some games it\u2019s both of them, some games it\u2019s one of them, and again, like I said, I pinch myself at times. \u2026 I\u2019m very in favor of George having a long-term future with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kneeland, who was 24, died on November 6 by apparent suicide, days after scoring the first touchdown of his career.<\/p>\n

Players and fans observed a moment of silence for Kneeland prior to the game and the Cowboys wore special t-shirts in his honor.<\/p>\n
