\t\t<\/p>\n \u201cNo Place Like Home\u201d is Elphaba\u2019s new song in Wicked: For Good<\/strong><\/a><\/em> and Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a> has opened about about the meaning of the track.<\/p>\n The song nods to The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, using the words that Dorothy echoes throughout the movie. <\/p>\n Elphaba sings the song near the beginning of the movie while trying to encourage the animals of Oz to stay and fight with her instead of going to the No Man\u2019s Land. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cShe has to question why she wants to continue to save Oz, or save the animals in it, even though this place doesn\u2019t necessarily want her,\u201d Cynthia <\/strong>told Empire<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt is a discovery as to why she can continue. That is where the story gets started for her.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cI was really aware that if the words \u2018no place like home\u2019 are in her mouth, they have to mean something.
