Marciano Brunette<\/strong> is speaking out after The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a>\u2019 Demi Engemann<\/strong><\/a> accused him of engaging in \u201cunwanted touch\u201d during a cast trip to Italy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be absolutely clear: I am taking this matter extremely seriously,\u201d Marciano said in a statement to People<\/em><\/a> on Thursday, November 20. \u201cThis is the most difficult situation I have ever faced, and the allegations against me are not only entirely false but profoundly damaging. I remain committed to addressing this issue fully and transparently.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, a rep for Demi, 30, told E! News<\/em><\/a> on Thursday, \u201cAs a woman, it distresses me that what happened to Demi is being minimized.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/a><\/em> season 3<\/a> \u2014 which premiered on November 13 \u2014 explores, in part, Marciano\u2019s claims that he was involved with both Demi and costar Jessi Ngatikaura<\/strong> when they filmed a Vanderpump Villa<\/em> crossover episode<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The drama actually started on another Hulu show \u2014 Vanderpump Villa \u2014 when Demi, Jessi, Jen Affleck, Layla Taylor and Mikayla Matthews were guests [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a confessional during the third season, Demi insisted that any physicality between them was \u201cunwanted.\u201d Marciano previously alleged that they kissed.<\/p>\n

The latest season of Mormon Wives<\/em> also delves into what Jessi described as an emotional affair with Marciano<\/a> during a rough patch in her marriage to husband Jordan Ngatikaura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say I was in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks so it was quick. But I will say I confided in him a lot,\u201d Jessi exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> ahead of the season 3 premiere. \u201cThe dynamic with Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn\u2019t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they\u2019d seen things, but I tried to be like, \u2018Everything\u2019s fine.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

But I wouldn\u2019t say I was in love with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Jessi, after a two-week emotional affair, she told Jordan what was going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cJordan found out when he went through my phone and put an end to it. But it was a blessing in disguise because it needed to end,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cI did not want to carry this on for months or years. I didn\u2019t know how to get out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marciano first revealed his affair with Jessi to Layla Taylor<\/strong> in the Mormon Wives<\/em> season 2 finale.<\/p>\n
