Lucas Bravo<\/strong> is coming back to Emily in Paris<\/em><\/a> after returning to the show despite some criticism about his arc \u2014 but there will be changes to Gabriel in season 5.<\/p>\n

A source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that \u201cLucas is in the show, he\u2019s just organically not as big a story this season.\u201d This update came after Netflix released a featurette<\/a> on Thursday, November 20, which showed Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount<\/strong> and more cast members teasing the show\u2019s move to Italy in season 5 while on set. Bravo didn\u2019t make an interview appearance outside of a clip of Gabriel from season 5.<\/p>\n

While Bravo wasn\u2019t the only one not included in the featurette, the absence came after<\/a> he was missing from the teaser trailer last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love to tell you something,\u201d Bravo told E! News in October. \u201cI like the fact that I\u2019m not in the trailer and that it creates a conversation, and I\u2019m gonna keep the conversation running. I won\u2019t say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bravo leaned into the questions about whether this hinted at his fate<\/a> on the show, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t know. I\u2019m not in it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor is expected to appear in season 5 and Gabriel\u2019s Michelin-rated restaurant was one of the backdrops while some scenes were filmed in Rome after Emily got a job offer in Italy. The confirmation came after Bravo surprised viewers with his criticism about Gabriel\u2019s arc on Emily in Paris<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Bravo admitted that Gabriel \u201cslowly turned into guacamole\u201d before questioning the \u201clack of risk\u201d<\/a> on screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn season 1, there was a lot of me in him. But as they made him kind of unaware of his surroundings, of the dynamic, always victimizing and always being completely lost in translation and oblivious to anything that is happening around him and being manipulated by everyone, it kind of became not fun for me to shoot,\u201d he noted. \u201cOr to see a character I love so much and brought me so much, being slowly turned into guacamole.
