\u201cAye, honestly if you don\u2019t like that I\u2019m having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow and casually move on,\u201d Skattebo, 23, wrote via X<\/a> on Tuesday, November 18. \u201cI\u2019m not able to play football and have the fun I\u2019ve been having my whole life so I am doing things outside the box trying to find stuff to keep me happy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cEnjoy the rest of y\u2019all\u2019s week and just don\u2019t talk about me if you ain\u2019t got nothing nice to say \ud83e\udee1.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Skattebo got into a shoving match at Madison Square Garden on Monday, November 17, just weeks after undergoing season-ending surgery for a dislocated ankle he suffered during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Former Indianapolis Colts player and head coach Jeff Saturday<\/strong> criticized Skattebo\u2019s ringside appearance on ESPN\u2019s Get Up<\/i><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think the risk-reward in this situation probably wasn\u2019t well thought-out,\u201d Saturday, 50, said. \u201cWhether you like it or not, he did get pushed pretty hard.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday added, \u201cI understand it\u2019s scripted, I understand all those things. There\u2019s still a risk-reward situation that\u2019s probably not in the best mindset.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo<\/strong><\/a> got physical at WWE Raw<\/i> just weeks after suffering a horrific season-ending injury<\/a> \u2014 which didn\u2019t sit well with a former Super Bowl champion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis how you make sure you have a short NFL career \ud83e\udd26,\u201d former NFL safety T.J. Ward<\/strong> wrote via X<\/a> on Monday, November 17.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ward, 38, played eight seasons in the NFL from 2010 to 2017 with the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning a Super Bowl with the Broncos in 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

Skattebo, 23, was ringside at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, wearing a Matt Rempe<\/strong> New York Rangers jersey while sitting next to comedian Andrew Schulz<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chloe Rodriguez broke her silence via social media on Monday, October 27, one day after Skattebo, 23, underwent surgery to repair the dislocated ankle he suffered during the Giants game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, October [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Things took a turn when WWE superstar Dominik Mysterio<\/strong> approached Skattebo and Schulz, 42, and began insulting the sold-out crowd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe only good thing that\u2019s ever come out of New York City is standing right in front of you,\u201d Mysterio, 28, boasted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mysterio then turned his attention squarely at Skattebo, saying, \u201cThe only champion New York has seen in \u2014 can you count, Cam? How many years? He don\u2019t know. He can\u2019t count.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Schulz attempted to grab the microphone from Mysterio, which resulted in Mysterio pushing Schulz backwards into his ringside seat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Skattebo \u2014 who suffered a gnarly dislocated ankle<\/a> against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26 \u2014 stood up to take things into his own hands, going face-to-face with Mysterio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mysterio\u2019s Judgment Day comrades made their way over to act as backup, which is when Skattebo pushed superstar JD McDonagh<\/strong> to the ground, eliciting an uproarious response from the Garden crowd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The move didn\u2019t sit well with the rest of the Judgment Day, who attacked Skattebo and a group of his Giants teammates who were sitting nearby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Skattebo took a decent pop from Mysterio as a massive melee ensued, but appeared to leave Madison Square Garden without suffering further injury.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
