Meghan Trainor<\/strong><\/a> is sharing how mean social media comments about her new appearance have affected her.<\/p>\n

Trainor, 31, said in a Tuesday, November 18, interview with Extra<\/em><\/a> that she\u2019s seen in an increase in social media criticism since losing 60 pounds<\/a>. \u201cLike, all my comments were just evil, attacking me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started posting pictures of myself recently, just like I always did, but for some reason, a flame went off and everyone got mad,\u201d she continued. \u201cJust like, \u2018Ew, don\u2019t recognize you. You\u2019re just a walking nose.\u2019 Crazy stuff. Like, mean.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI was like, \u2018This doesn\u2019t affect me.\u2019 Yes, it did. I cried so much. They got to me. And my therapist was like, \u2018You give them a lot of power,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Yeah, I wish I didn\u2019t.\u2019 So I\u2019m trying to learn at 31 how to not give strangers power.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trainor is channeling the negativity into another self-empowerment anthem, \u201cStill Don\u2019t Care,\u201d<\/a> the lead single from her forthcoming album, Toy With Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote down what people have said to me online or in person,\u201d she said. \u201cI wanted to write a big song about it. I was just like, \u2018Leave me alone. I don\u2019t care.\u2019 \u2026 When I play it for the team or my family members, they just sob.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trainor, 31, took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 29, to repost a photo taken by her coach, Bella Maher, and shared on Maher\u2019s personal training page, Malibu Bodies. In the snap, the women coordinated in all-black workout ensembles with white socks and sneakers as Trainor [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trainor, who shares sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, with actor husband Daryl Sabara<\/strong>, said that she\u2019s been on a personal health journey for several years, but has particularly overhauled her diet and exercise routines since giving birth to her second child in July 2023. In March, she admitted to using GLP-1 medication Mounjaro<\/a> \u2014 the brand name for tirzepatide \u2014 to aid her goals.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cI\u2019m the healthiest I\u2019ve ever been and the most fit. It was like school. I had to learn what food was healthy for me and what was good with my digestion. \u2026 My last baby was two years ago, and I\u2019ve been nonstop focusing on my health and fitness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trainor also opened up about the message behind \u201cStill Don\u2019t Care,\u201d a song hitting back at people scrutinizing her appearance, in a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018I\u2019m literally, for the first time ever, after having babies, taking care of my health to the highest level. I\u2019ve never felt better, and I look incredible. I feel great,\u201d Trainor said in a Thursday, November 13, interview. \u201cAnd that\u2019s when people attack me.\u201d<\/p>\n
