Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> faced a terrifying moment during what was supposed to be a celebratory night. The pop star was reportedly accosted by a man on the red carpet at the Wicked: For Good<\/em> premiere in Singapore on Thursday, November 13.<\/p>\n

Grande, 31, who stars as Glinda in the highly anticipated musical adaptation, was posing for photos alongside her costars Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a>, Michelle Yeoh<\/strong> and Jeff Goldblum<\/strong> when chaos suddenly erupted. According to several viral clips shared online, a man wearing a white T-shirt and shorts sprinted toward the singer, grabbing her in front of stunned photographers and fans.<\/p>\n

The intruder, identified by fans as social media personality Johnson Wen<\/strong> \u2014 known online as \u201cPyjama Man\u201d \u2014 appeared to wrap his arm around Grande as she tried to pull away. Erivo immediately rushed to her defense, stepping between Grande and the man while shouting for security to intervene. Guards quickly restrained Wen and escorted him off the carpet as a visibly shaken Grande took several deep breaths.<\/p>\n

Erivo and Yeoh were seen comforting their costar, while the crowd erupted in shock. \u201cDear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d Wen later wrote on Instagram, sharing footage of the incident.<\/p>\n

Wen is no stranger to controversy \u2014 he\u2019s previously crashed high-profile events, including Katy Perry<\/strong>\u2019s concert in June and The Weeknd<\/strong>\u2019s show in August, before being swiftly removed by security.<\/p>\n

The frightening encounter was especially concerning given Grande\u2019s history with trauma. The singer has previously spoken openly about suffering from PTSD and anxiety following the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing that tragically killed 22 fans during her concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well,\u201d she told British Vogue<\/em> in 2018. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss \u2026 I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also discussed her ongoing struggles with anxiety, admitting, \u201cI think a lot of people have anxiety, especially right now \u2026 My anxiety has anxiety.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
