Steven \u201cSteve\u201d McBee Sr<\/strong>.\u2019s kids are savoring every moment with their father before he begins his prison sentence<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just spending as much time as we can with him and making sure that we prioritize family time [like] spending dinners over there with him and just leaning on one another for support,\u201d Steven McBee Jr.<\/strong> exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> while attending BravoCon 2025<\/span><\/a> on Friday, November 14. \u201cI think that\u2019s the central theme of our show before my dad\u2019s situation \u2014 and even more so now \u2014 is with family. You can get through anything 100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole McBee<\/strong> added, \u201cWe\u2019ve been trying to spend as much time as we can with him before he leaves, but we\u2019re gonna work through this together. It\u2019s a tough position in our life, but we\u2019re going to get through anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

On October 16, Steve, 52, was sentenced to 24 months in prison after pleading guilty<\/span><\/a> for his role in a multi-million dollar crop insurance fraud.<\/p>\n

Bravo\u2019s McBee Dynasty<\/i>, which aims to immerse viewers in the ongoing saga of the McBee family as they strive to rescue their farm and cattle ranch from financial ruin, was renewed for season<\/span><\/a> 3 before Steve was sentenced.<\/p>\n

During the patriarch\u2019s legal drama, Steven, 32, revealed on the \u201cUnlocked\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a> that it felt like the family was \u201cwearing the scarlet letter\u201d everywhere they went as a result of his father\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n

While attending his first BravoCon in Las Vegas, Steven further explained what he meant.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, it was going into every single conversation \u2014 whether it was personally or professionally \u2014 you could feel it in the air regarding my dad\u2019s situation,\u201d he explained to Us<\/i>. \u201cTo have that closing with the sentencing, it\u2019s finality. It\u2019s \u2018Hey, this is over now. We can move on and start progressing in our lives.\u2019 I think all of us felt a weight lifted off of our shoulders, even though it wasn\u2019t what we wanted with sentencing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although some family members thought the sentence was a little \u201ctough,\u201d they commend Steve for remaining positive during all of the changes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing good. He\u2019s one of the most optimistic, positive people you ever meet,\u201d Cole told Us<\/i>. \u201cI think that\u2019s kept us sane going through all this. He says, \u2018Hey, you guys are gonna get through this no matter what happens. We\u2019re going to work through it.\u2019 He tells us that every morning and every day, he\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m going to be OK. It\u2019s up to you guys.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesse McBee<\/strong> added, \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t even realize what he was going through, just because he\u2019s so positive. This is what he\u2019s kind of prepared us for, anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite any and all legal drama, there is still much to celebrate in the McBee family.<\/p>\n
