A roundabout way to love! It took some time for Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Jackelina \u201cJackie\u201d Bonds<\/strong><\/a> and Josh Demas<\/strong><\/a> to ultimately find their way to each other.<\/p>\n Jackie and Josh met in the pods<\/a> during season 4 of the Netflix reality series in 2023. While they had a strong bond, the dental assistant also formed a connection with Marshall Glaze<\/strong><\/a>. While she was torn between the two men<\/a>, Jackie ultimately accepted Marshall\u2019s proposal following the pod phase of the dating experiment.<\/p>\n However, Jackie and the marketing executive began to bicker<\/a> and get into a series of heated arguments<\/a> leading up to their wedding day<\/a>. After Marshall made a comment that didn\u2019t sit right with Jackie, she felt the need to call off their engagement<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c[It was] that [moment] and then there was another comment that he had made, and I\u2019m not gonna go into that because it\u2019s very, very derogatory to a group,\u201d Jackie claimed to Us Weekly<\/em> in April 2023 about an alleged unaired conversation<\/a> between herself and her ex-fiance, which Marshall has not publicly addressed. \u201cBut, he made that comment and I was just, like, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019m cool.\u2019 Once you disrespect me and call me out on my character, as a woman, I\u2019m not standing for that. I\u2019m outta here.\u201d<\/p>\n On the show, Jackie skipped her wedding dress fitting<\/a> to meet up with Josh at a coffee shop. The project engineer confessed he still had feelings for her and brought her a bouquet of roses. Jackie later took to social media to clarify she had already called things off<\/a> with Marshall before rekindling her romance with Josh.<\/p>\n \u201cI have seen the latest episodes that have premiered on Love Is Blind<\/em> and I must speak the truth. Marshall and I were broken up before I saw Josh at the coffee shop,\u201d she wrote via Instagram<\/a> following the airing of the show in April 2023. \u201cI am wearing different clothes, my hair is styled [differently] and at the end of the [episode], I say, \u2018I DON\u2019T KNOW IF I AM GOING TO BE WITH JOSH.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Marshall, for his part, told Us<\/em> that he didn\u2019t have \u201cany ill will toward Jackie or Josh,\u201d following their love triangle<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c[Jackie and I] shared that experience for quite some time, and I\u2019ll always have that to remember, and I am choosing to hold on to the good memories and let go of the hurtful ones and the one that ultimately ended us,\u201d he explained in April 2023. \u201cI think that\u2019s best to just put that under the bridge and keep moving and put that in the rearview.\u201d<\/p>\n After the dating show\u2019s reunion special aired in April 2023, Jackie revealed to Us<\/em> that she and Josh were going strong and were currently living together<\/a>.<\/p>\n
