\t\t<\/p>\n June Squibb<\/strong><\/a> is gushing over her friendship with Chris Colfer<\/strong><\/a>! <\/p>\n The 96-year-old actress and the 35-year-old actor turned author first met when she guest starred in the season five episode of Glee<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, \u201cOld Dog, New Trick,\u201d which Chris<\/strong> actually wrote.<\/p>\n Eleven and a half years later, the pair are still good friends, and in a new interview, she dished on their lasting friendship. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe are heavy duty buddies,\u201d she told Amy Poehler<\/strong><\/a> on her Good Hang<\/a><\/em> podcast. \u201cWe worked together so closely [on Glee<\/em>]\u2026 it was a long shoot and I just sort of got to know him and I liked him a lot. So, we started then having dinner together, and he has a great partner, Will Sherrod<\/strong><\/a>, who I adore too. It was just great fun.\u201d <\/p>\n Amy <\/strong>then asked June<\/strong> what she learns from or gets out of people that are younger, as she feels like people ask her for wisdom. <\/p>\n \u201cOh, no. No. They know they\u2019re not going to get it. So, they don\u2019t ask that at all from me in any way,\u201d June<\/strong> replied.<\/p>\n As for what she\u2019s learned from Chris<\/strong> and other younger friends, she says she doesn\u2019t know. <\/p>\n \u201cI just, if I like someone, I don\u2019t think I ever think in terms of how old they are,\u201d she shared. \u201cIf I feel an affinity, that there\u2019s something here that I want to be more a part of\u2026 I mean, why would I tell anyone what to do?\u201d<\/p>\n Recently, June<\/strong> has starred in Scarlett Johansson<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s directorial debut Eleanor the Great<\/em>, which debuted in theaters in September. She will next have a voice role in Zootopia 2<\/em>. <\/p>\n Earlier this year, it was announced that Chris<\/strong>\u2018 hit children\u2019s book \u201cThe Land of Stories\u201d is getting a live-action movie<\/a> adaptation!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
