\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ezra Miller<\/strong><\/a> is the star of Warner Brothers\u2019 upcoming The Flash<\/strong><\/a><\/em> movie and they\u2019ve been in the middle of lots of controversies over the past couple years that have made the film a tricky subject for the studio.<\/p>\n For some backstory: Ezra<\/strong> was arrested multiple times in Hawaii<\/a> for assault, was accused of harassing a woman in Germany<\/a>, was accused of choking someone in Iceland, was accused of hosting three young children and their mom<\/a> in Vermont in an \u201cunsafe environment,\u201d was charged with felony burglary<\/a> in Vermont, and was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a young person<\/a> they met at age 12.<\/p>\n For a while, it was unclear if the film would ever be released because of Ezra<\/strong>\u2018s troubles, but the movie is indeed hitting theaters on June 16. And there\u2019s a chance a sequel could even happen. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The film\u2019s director, Andy Muschietti<\/strong><\/a>, says he has no plans to recast Ezra<\/strong> if a sequel is made. <\/p>\n \u201cIf [a sequel] happens, yes [Ezra <\/strong>would play The Flash],\u201d Andy<\/strong> told The Discourse<\/em> podcast about a potential sequel. \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s anyone that can play that character as well as they did. The other depictions of the character are great, but this particular vision of the character, they just excelled in doing it.
