Gamma, a startup\u00a0that\u00a0creates\u00a0AI-generated presentations,\u00a0websites,\u00a0and social media posts,\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0on Monday a\u00a0$68 million Series B round at a $2.1 billion valuation led by Andreessen Horowitz.\u00a0<\/p>\n Co-founder\u00a0and CEO\u00a0Grant Lee\u00a0posted on X<\/a>\u00a0that the company\u00a0has\u00a0profitably hit\u00a0$100 million in ARR, with\u00a070 million users.\u00a0The startup\u00a0hit $50 million profitably in its first two\u00a0years, Lee\u00a0previously posted<\/a>.\u00a0Gamma last raised\u00a0a\u00a0$12 million\u00a0Series A\u00a0round\u00a0led by Accel<\/a>\u00a0in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n Gamma\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0exactly a new-to-the-scene AI startup (at least by AI standards). It was\u00a0founded in late 2020,\u00a0according to\u00a0Lee\u2019s LinkedIn<\/a>, with its product first launching in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n Its\u00a0more cautious raising trajectory (by AI standards) helped it\u00a0hit a double-unicorn valuation on a total fundraising of about $90 million. This was achieved with only about 50\u00a0employees, Lee\u00a0said.\u00a0And the round included a $20 million secondary offering that gave liquidity to early employees, the company tells TechCrunch. The latest round also included\u00a0participation from Accel and Uncork\u00a0Capital,\u00a0and its\u00a0other\u00a0backers\u00a0include<\/a>\u00a0South Park Commons, Hustle\u00a0Fund,\u00a0and others.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
