The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Stanford Cardinal, 20-15, on Saturday, November 8, but the real showdown might have come off the field between Jordon Hudson<\/strong><\/a> and her boyfriend Bill Belichick<\/strong>\u2019s daughter-in-law.<\/p>\n

Hudson, 24, and Jennifer Schmitt<\/strong>, who is married to Belichick\u2019s son Stephen<\/strong>, both attended the game but awkwardly seemed to keep their distance from each other during and after the game, in pictures obtained by <\/a>TMZ.<\/em><\/p>\n

They each wore white tops with blue skirts, but watched the game from separate suites, arms crossed and eyes fixed on the field. (Belichick, 73, is in his first season as UNC head coach and Stephen, 38, is the team\u2019s defensive coordinator.)<\/p>\n

Though they were dressed similarly, Hudson set herself apart by sporting a necklace with the word \u201cBanned\u201d on it, an apparent nod to the rumor during the offseason that she had been banned from North Carolina\u2019s football facilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNot even a little drama will keep Jordon Hudson\u00a0from supporting her boyfriend Bill Belichick\u2019s football team. Hudson, 24, stepped out at the University of North Carolina \u2013 Chapel Hill\u2019s Friday, October 17, football game in Berkeley, California, where she watched the matchup from the sidelines. Hudson brought her signature flair to the game, as well, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Even with no verbal confrontation between Hudson and Schmitt, their frosty, non-encounter is notable, coming six months after Schmitt seemed to take a swipe at Hudson<\/a> via social media.<\/p>\n

It came amid the fallout from Belichick\u2019s infamous CBS Sunday Morning<\/em> interview<\/a> in April, in which Hudson stepped in to shut down a question from journalist Tony Dokoupil<\/strong> about how the couple met. Schmitt replied to comedian Nikki Glaser<\/strong>, who wrote via Instagram that Hudson was \u201cacting as his publicist.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPublicists act in a professional manner and don\u2019t \u2018storm\u2019 off-set delaying an interview,\u201d Schmitt wrote in the comments.<\/p>\n

One of Hudson\u2019s family members told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> exclusively in September that Belichick was \u201cnot happy\u201d with Schmitt\u2019s comments, and viewed them as \u201cfanning the flames\u201d of the controversy.<\/p>\n

Hudson, 24, was spotted watching the action from the sidelines at Kenan Memorial Stadium on Saturday, as the Tar Heels scored an impressive 41-6 win over the Richmond Spiders. Hudson, for her part, took to Instagram to defend herself after the incident, writing, \u201cI will not be cyber-bullied into submission. I will continue to stand for love, authenticity and permissibility of nonconformity. They can burn me at the stake, but they cannot burn out my light!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of the CBS Sunday Morning<\/em> interview, Belichick tried to clear the air by releasing a statement, saying he was under the impression that the interview would focus solely on his book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football<\/em>.<\/p>\n
