Sally is grateful for your kindness and love,\u201d the new message reads, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSally is on hospice now and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all the love, support, and care for Sally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The page has raised more than $58,000 toward its goal of $65,000.<\/p>\n<p>A former member of Andy Warhol\u2019s Factory circle, Kirkland has appeared in over 250 film and television projects in her 60-year career.<\/p>\n<p>She gained a new level of fame in 1987, when she earned a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for the independent film <em>Anna<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She went on to appear in films like <em>Bruce Almighty<\/em> and <em>JFK<\/em>.
