JLaw and R.Pat are one delightful duo. Die, My Love<\/em> stars Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong><\/a> and Robert Pattinson<\/strong><\/a> recently participated in an especially entertaining edition of Vanity Fair<\/em>\u2019s Lie Detector Test, where they chatted about rapping, former roommates, reality television, and having (or not having) Oscars.<\/p>\n Those who have been paying attention should have seen this coming: Lawrence told Las Culturistas<\/em> hosts Bowen Yang<\/strong> and Matt Rogers<\/strong><\/a> that she specifically wanted to do a Lie Detector Test with Pattinson. When Lawrence\u2019s wish was granted, she made Pattinson strap in for the polygraph first. Pattinson, who has a known history of telling tall tales during interviews<\/a>, was visibly nervous before Lawrence began grilling him. Her first one for Pattinson: \u201cYou once said you wanted to be a rapper named Big Tub. Do you want to be Big Tub instead of being an actor?\u201d Ultimately, Pattinson agreed it was too late to pursue his rapping dream\u2014and acknowledged that he hadn\u2019t yet chatted with fellow rapper turned actor Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong> about his musical aspirations.<\/p>\n Lawrence later asked Pattinson if he\u2019s jealous that she has an Oscar and he does not. \u201cI\u2019m not jealous of your specific one. I\u2019m glad you have one,\u201d he said after careful consideration. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to take it off you and have it for myself.\u201d So diplomatic. Further into the questioning, Pattinson joked that he would return for another Twilight<\/em> film because he likes taking roles from younger actors\u2014and maintained that he is a member of Gen Z. When Lawrence called him out\u2014Pattinson is, in fact, a 39-year-old millennial\u2014Pattinson dug his heels in further. You\u2019re only as old as you feel.<\/p>\n Soon, it was Lawrence\u2019s turn in the hot seat. She, too, was nervous: \u201cI guess I never realized how much I lie in interviews,\u201d Lawrence said. She was apparently truthful while saying that she still believes everyone hates her\u2014\u201cI don\u2019t know why anybody wouldn\u2019t\u201d\u2014and when calling Emma Stone<\/strong> her best friend. (No wonder the two are reportedly producing a Miss Piggy movie together.) Lawrence also admitted she\u2019s jealous of Stone for having two Oscars, while Lawrence only has one\u2014which doesn\u2019t mean Lawrence judges Pattinson for having none. \u201cYou deserve many,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n An avid reality television watcher, Lawrence admitted that she has fallen off on The Kardashians,<\/em> but that didn\u2019t stop her from having strong opinions about the family anyway. After revealing that her favorite is Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian,<\/strong> Lawrence laid in a bit on Kourtney:<\/strong> \u201cKourtney is more annoying than ever,\u201d she said. \u201cShe drives me nuts. Everything has to be an announcement. \u2018I\u2019m not going to wear outfits anymore.\u2019 Just wear whatever you want. Don\u2019t make an announcement about it. Or like, \u2018I don\u2019t have a TV in my room.\u2019 Just don\u2019t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shh.\u201d<\/p>\n It seems like Lawrence got away with at least one lie during the test, when Pattinson asked her if she thought The Hunger Games<\/em> was cooler than Twilight<\/em>. \u201cNo,\u201d she said convincingly, prompting the analyst to confirm that she was being truthful. \u201cBreaking news: This machine is broken,\u201d Lawrence then said. It\u2019s true: Katniss Everdeen could take Edward Cullen any day of the week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
