The Golden Bachelor<\/em> <\/a>alum Gerry Turner<\/strong><\/a> has found a buyer for his Indiana home less than four months after putting it on the market.<\/p>\n

According to a Realtor.com article<\/a> published on Wednesday, November 5, the reality TV star\u2019s lake house is under a contingent offer, which means Gerry, 74, \u201chas accepted an offer; however, certain conditions must be met before that deal can close.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gerry\u2019s four-bedroom, 2,624-square-foot property was originally listed at $739,900, the outlet reported. Several weeks later, the listed price was decreased to $719,900.<\/p>\n

The house was the same one that was at the center of Gerry\u2019s failed relationship journey with Theresa Nist,<\/strong><\/a> 72. The former couple met on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor<\/em> in 2023.<\/p>\n

Gerry and Theresa tied the knot in a TV special in January 2024 before calling it quits just three months later.<\/p>\n

Gerry had originally planned to move out of the Indiana home as the then-couple planned to move to Charleston, South Carolina with Theresa. (Theresa was living in New Jersey at the time.)<\/p>\n

Theresa told People<\/em> in December 2024 that she also planned to offload her property<\/a> so they could start a new life together in Charleston.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the plan,\u201d she told the outlet at the time. \u201cI was selling my home. He was selling his home.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the interview, Theresa claimed that Gerry had told her he was \u201csick\u201d of his home in Indiana and was on the hunt for something new before he was diagnosed with cancer and had second thoughts.<\/p>\n

\u201c[But] Gerry, after he got back home, he kind of changed his mind,\u201d she said. \u201cHe said, \u2018No, let\u2019s do it six weeks here and six weeks there.\u2019 And I didn\u2019t want to do that. I really wanted a home together. I wanted the joy of being in a home together and designing a home together. I really thought that was going to be phenomenal. I was looking forward to that so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Theresa, she and Gerry only inspected houses in Charlston online and never stepped foot inside any in real life.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe never got there, and it never happened,\u201d Theresa said. \u201cSo that would\u2019ve been a thing to do differently, to actually go to South Carolina and go see things and see them in person instead of just looking at them online because that wasn\u2019t enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it just petered out that we were looking at homes back and forth and we could never agree on one. And then the emails just stopped, [and] we weren\u2019t looking anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
