David Del Rio<\/strong><\/a> has hired Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s lawyer, Shawn Holley<\/strong>, several weeks after being fired from the CBS legal drama Matlock<\/i>, Us Weekly<\/em> can confirm.<\/span><\/p>\n

TMZ<\/a><\/span> reported on Wednesday, November 5, that actor, 38, has retained Holley, 63, as his attorney in the aftermath of his abrupt Matlock <\/i>departure following an investigation into sexual assault allegations. Holley\u2019s clients include Kardashian, 45, as well as Justin Bieber<\/strong> and Lindsay Lohan<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

An alleged incident involving<\/span><\/a> Del Rio and costar Leah Lewis<\/strong> took place toward the end of September. When Lewis, 28, reported it to CBS days later, Del Rio was immediately \u201cfired and escorted off the lot,\u201d Deadline <\/i>reported at the time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Del Rio has not publicly commented on the firing, though Lewis spoke out via Instagram last month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Matlock<\/i>\u2019s second season premiered on October 12. Del Rio\u2019s character, Billy, was expected to be written off in the second half of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahead of the actor\u2019s firing, Matlock<\/i> set up an emotional scene<\/a> between Billy and Sarah (Lewis) in the October 23 episode of the hit series. Olympia (Skye P. Marshall<\/strong>) had been distracted by her conflict with Matty (Kathy Bates<\/strong>), and tried to blame Sarah for making a mistake in a case. It was Olympia\u2019s fault, actually, and Billy came to Sarah\u2019s defense. \u201cStop gaslighting Sarah,\u201d Billy told Olympia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later, Sarah thanked Billy for \u201cthe way you stood up for me with Olympia even though you are so conflict-averse. The point is, you did it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
