Candace Cameron Bure<\/strong> <\/a>has been in the public eye since she was a kid, but that doesn\u2019t mean she\u2019s warmed up to people judging her body \u2014 nor is she OK with it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do feel confident and secure in who I am, however, I feel like there\u2019s still always a pressure [to look a certain way],\u201d Cameron Bure, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, November 4, while promoting her new book, Rise and Renew: A 30-Day Devotional to Heal a Hurting Heart, Overcome Emotional Pain, and Grow in Your Faith \u2013 Interactive Devotions with Bible \u2026 and Creative Exercises (One Step Closer)<\/em><\/a>, in which she talks about aging gracefully, her connection with God and daily resets.<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure explained that it\u2019s not always easy to rise above the pressures of Hollywood, but said, \u201cI do feel great.\u201d She noted, \u201cIf my husband loves me and tells me I look great, then that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Full House<\/em> alum<\/a> appreciates the connection she has with fans, but told Us<\/em> criticism over her body is something she tries to avoid. Earlier this year, Cameron Bure received backlash from some over a one-piece bathing suit photo she shared via social media.<\/p>\n

She ultimately took down the picture, which she told her Instagram<\/a> followers in September was part of her \u201csoaking up the end of summer\u201d and \u201chaving fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking back, Cameron Bure told Us<\/em> it was easier to shut down any negative comments by deleting the image in question.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are always going to have an opinion, and sometimes you forget that for a moment because you\u2019re like, \u2018Hey, happy moment. Gonna share something,\u2019\u201d Cameron Bure recalled. \u201cAnd then you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, why did I share it?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFull House star Candace Cameron Bure isn\u2019t afraid to push back against online body-shamers. On September 6, 2025, Bure opened up about her decision to post \u2014 and then subsequently delete \u2014 a photo of herself in a swimsuit. \u201cI was at the beach, [and] I was wearing a one-piece,\u201d Cameron Bure wrote via her [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The actress explained that in the case of the bathing suit photo, she \u201cfelt like it was easier to take it down, because I don\u2019t need to have controversy over it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure confessed, \u201cI don\u2019t need for people to pick apart my body. I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s fine, you couldn\u2019t have an opinion. I\u2019m just going to take it away so you don\u2019t get to say what you want about that part of my life.\u2019 And that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite some internet trolls dissecting her appearance<\/a>, Cameron Bure said she still feels \u201clike I\u2019m 30\u201d as her 50th birthday draws closer. (Cameron Bure will celebrate the age milestone in April 2026.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m always gonna feel like I\u2019m 30. I think of [my real] number, and I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m that old?\u2019\u201d she said with a laugh. \u201cI guess I\u2019m making myself excited about turning 50<\/a>. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m really excited about it, but I\u2019m kind of, like, willing myself to be excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron Bure isn\u2019t totally sold on turning 50, but she is ready for life\u2019s future challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am getting in the best shape of my life,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cBecause I want to enter this next decade of my life being strong and healthy, because I know I got a lot of stuff coming my way<\/a>, and I want to be able to handle it as best as I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to her fitness goals, Cameron Bure teased that there is one thing she\u2019d like to leave behind in her 40s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d like to leave the cystic acne that I still get. I don\u2019t want to take that into my 50s,\u201d she chuckled. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Why am I still getting this in my 40s?\u2019 I have a feeling it\u2019s only going to get worse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of working on her physical well-being<\/a>, Cameron Bure has continued to nurture her spiritual self and her relationship with God. Writing her new book, Rise and Renew<\/em>, was one way that Cameron Bure decided to share her religious beliefs with the world while keeping track of her own journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a 30 day devotional, and it\u2019s [meant for readers] to spend, really five minutes, 10 minutes in the word,\u201d Cameron Bure told Us<\/em> of the book, which comes out this month. \u201cIt\u2019s filled with scripture from the Bible, and I write some personal reflections.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Timeless Tidings of Joy<\/em> actress<\/a> said that although she might not do a devotional \u201cevery day\u201d the practice is \u201cpart of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time in prayer. It\u2019s time for me spent with God that resets my morning,\u201d Cameron Bure continued. \u201cBecause I can make all the plans that I want to make, but I really want God to guide my path, and I do that by resetting every morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
