Hailee Steinfeld has opened up about her mentality<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old actress – who married NFL star Josh Allen earlier this year – believes that her starring role in Sinners, the Ryan Coogler-directed horror movie, came to her at the perfect time in her life.<\/p>\n
Hailee told Bustle: “This role wouldn\u2019t have existed in my life at any other time.<\/p>\n
“It made sense in that this is where I\u2019m at in my life. I\u2019m stepping into my own as a woman, understanding who I am in every sense of the word. I\u2019m such a firm believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. <\/p>\n
“Timing is everything. Where I\u2019m at professionally, mentally, emotionally \u2014 if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn\u2019t have been able to take it on.”<\/p>\n
\nHailee launched her Beau Society newsletter during the SAG strike in 2023, and she’s been able to reach her fans through the platform.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It has been this really great connective way to reach people. We get to talk about everything from the layers that exist in Sinners to this avocado hummus.”<\/p>\n
\nHailee has actually started to build her weeks around her newsletter.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “I wake up on a Monday, which is my brainstorming day. Tuesday, I\u2019m writing it. Wednesday, sending it off to my designer. And then Thursday, we\u2019re doing revisions, and then we send it off.”<\/p>\n
\nHailee married Josh Allen earlier this year, and the NFL star previously admitted that he feels “proud” of his wife.<\/p>\n
\nJosh heaped praise on the actress following her starring role in Sinners and he described the horror film as “fantastic”.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to reporters at the Buffalo Bills Team Activities training, Josh said: “I’m so excited for her and so proud of her.<\/p>\n
\n“It’s getting some great reviews and it’s a fantastic movie, so go watch it.”<\/p>\n
\nJosh is one of the best-known players in the NFL, but he’s happy to take a back seat to Hailee and her success.<\/p>\n
\nThe sports star shared: “I’m just there trying to support her in whatever way that I can.<\/p>\n
\n“That was her moment and I’m so glad she got to shine.”<\/p>\n
