Ariana Grande<\/a> has begged fans not to “wish danger on us” after she missed Brazil’s Wicked: For Good premiere.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The 32-year-old actress – who is reprising her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the highly anticipated musical sequel – was forced to miss the event on Tuesday (04.11.25) after issues with her flight, but some people have gone overboard with their reactions.<\/p>\n
She wrote on her Instagram Story: “Please don’t wish danger on us. We didn everything we could and I promise you no one is more upset than I am, I promise.<\/p>\n
“No matter how upset or disappointed you are, please please do not wish danger on us or assume that we didn’t try.”<\/p>\n
Ariana added that with travel arrangements “booked for months”, she couldn’t have left at any other time.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “I wrapped another film on the 31st and I worked all day the 1st and the 2nd as well, just the same as Jonny, Cyn and JOn have been working.<\/p>\n
\n“We all were scheduled to leave the same day. It just so happened that this place had a safety problem and I have explained why finding another option was impossible.<\/p>\n
\n“I have been looking forward to this moment for a year… so please know how disappointed I am…<\/p>\n
\n“Sending lots of love to you all. I hope it’s a beautiful and safe night.”<\/p>\n
\nIn a previous post, Ariana admitted she was “beyond devastated” to have to miss the event, with her flight cancelled due to a safety issue.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress and pop star insisted her own team and Universal “have tried every single thing possible to fix this”, to no avail.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: “We’ve searched every other flight, overnight, early morning, connecting flights, commercial and also private options and absolutely nothing was available or possible that would get us there in time.<\/p>\n
\n“Even in attempting a private option, there is a permit necessary in order to fly from here that takes time to attain.”<\/p>\n
