\t\t<\/p>\n Drew Barrymore<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about a health scare.<\/p>\n On Monday (November 3), Tig Notaro<\/strong><\/a> appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em> where she talked to the 50-year-old Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/em> actress about undergoing a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in 2016. <\/p>\n During their chat, Drew<\/strong> revealed that she recently had a breast cancer \u201cscare.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cThis is the thing I\u2019ve wanted to risk talking about on this show because \u2014 I recently had a scare,\u201d Drew<\/strong> began.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m completely fine, but I did get a bad mammogram and I got taken into that room and then I had an emergency biopsy and I waited those 5 days,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Earlier in the episode, Drew<\/strong> hinted at being personally touched by Tig<\/strong>\u2018s new project Come See Me in the Good Light<\/em>. The comedian co-produced the new documentary, which is about celebrated poets Andrea Gibson<\/strong> and her wife, Megan Falley<\/strong>, and how they navigated their lives after Andrea<\/strong>\u2019s terminal ovarian cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been wanting to discuss a certain subject on this show, and I did not know how. It is a very tough one to approach,\u201d Drew said. \u201cBut, having seen your documentary, I feel like I might be able to start scratching the surface here because of what you guys were brave enough, bold enough and smart enough to put out into the world, which is clearly being embraced, so I think that also gives us a little more confidence.\u201d Drew <\/strong>also recently revealed that one of her daughters was involved in a scary e-bike accident<\/a>.<\/p>\n
