WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham<\/strong> isn\u2019t afraid to crack a joke \u2014 even when meeting one of the most popular Hollywood stars on the planet.<\/p>\n

Cunningham, 29, posed for pictures alongside actress Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> at a NASCAR race in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, November 2. The WNBA star later shared the photo via X<\/a>, where she also seemingly made a joke in reference to Sweeney\u2019s appearance<\/p>\n

\u201c[O]ne of us forgot our tits at home @sydney_sweeney,\u201d the athlete wrote, alongside a smiley emoji.<\/p>\n

Cunningham\u2019s light-hearted comment appeared to be a reference to how both were dressed. While the Indiana Fever guard wore a light gray crop top tee layered with a Phoenix jersey, Sweeney, 28, wore a low-cut white crop top under a white-and-red racing jacket.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSophie Cunningham is entering her seventh season in the WNBA and her first as a member of the revamped Indiana Fever, the team led by young phenom Caitlin Clark. Clark\u2019s impact on the WNBA \u2014 and basketball in general \u2014 has been well documented. But now that Indiana is in position to challenge for a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The basketball player has been very busy during the league\u2019s offseason. On Wednesday, October 29, Cunningham shared a series of photos via Instagram<\/a> of a visit to Good Morning America<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cgooooood morning \u2018Merica! nothing like eating steak nuggets at 7am\ud83d\ude0b,\u201d she captioned the carousel of images, which featured her sitting atop the host desk as well as another photo of Cunningham posing with Robin Roberts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cunningham also discussed the visit on her podcast, \u201cShow Me Something.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe people there are absolutely so, so nice,\u201d she told cohost West Wilson<\/strong> in an episode released on Saturday, November 1. \u201cThe hair and makeup were great. I met Robin, I met Ginger [Zee]<\/strong> \u2026 Dude, [Robin] was so cool. She was so cool. I was like, my gosh, this is awesome. But I was there with Arby\u2019s. And it was amazing. I was eating steak bites at like 7, 8 AM, it was nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cunningham also addressed the ongoing CBA negotiations in the WNBA. The league\u2019s athletes are asking for a larger percentage of overall revenue that would grow as the league continues to expand \u2014 and have not been happy with what the numbers leadership has offered them so far. Both parties missed a Friday, October 31, deadline to sign a new agreement and have entered into a 30-day extension period.<\/p>\n

The delay could mean that next year\u2019s period of free agency will also occur later than usual, and that athletes may not sign contracts with teams anytime soon. Cunningham, like most of the WNBA\u2019s players, will be an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want that next contract so I can buy a house!\u201d she told Wilson. \u201cI just want to feel homey and cozy but I\u2019m not decorating anything again until I\u2019ve got a three-year contract in front of me.\u201d<\/p>\n
