Things got messy in the ballroom \u2014 and not because of the tango.<\/p>\n

Alix Earle<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s stepmom, Ashley Dupr\u00e9<\/strong>, is catching major heat after making a controversial comment about Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> guest judge Cheryl Burke<\/strong><\/a>. The 40-year-old former escort shared her unfiltered reaction<\/a> to the influencer\u2019s \u201cHalloween Night\u201d performance with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong><\/a> on TikTok Tuesday \u2014 and while she praised the dance as \u201cf\u2014ing amazing,\u201d she had some harsh words for Burke after seeing her score.<\/p>\n

Despite earning perfect 10s from judges Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong>, Bruno Tonioli<\/strong>\u00a0and Derek Hough<\/strong>, Burke only gave Earle and Chmerkovskiy a nine. That didn\u2019t sit well with Dupr\u00e9, who could be heard snapping in the video, \u201cOh, go take more Ozempic,\u201d after Burke revealed her score.<\/p>\n

When one of her children asked about the comment, Dupr\u00e9 doubled down, saying, \u201cShe looks weird. She doesn\u2019t even look like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The remark quickly drew backlash online. \u201cThat Ozempic comment was so unnecessary,\u201d one TikTok user wrote, while another added, \u201cEveryone being an active bully and thinking it\u2019s okay because Alix didn\u2019t get a 10??? What is wrong with y\u2019all.\u201d Still, others found Dupr\u00e9\u2019s comment entertaining, with fans posting, \u201cTHE OZEMPIC COMMENT \ud83d\ude02 I was literally thinking the same thing \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m peeing at the Ozempic comment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Burke, 41, has been open about the speculation surrounding her appearance. Back in March, the former DWTS pro addressed rumors that she\u2019d used the diabetes drug for weight loss, clarifying in a candid TikTok that she wasn\u2019t on Ozempic \u2014 and hadn\u2019t undergone any cosmetic procedures either.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not on Ozempic. I\u2019m not sick,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t get a face transplant, and no, I didn\u2019t get a brow lift.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to call out the \u201cwild\u201d level of projection she\u2019s witnessed online, noting that people constantly compare her to her younger self. \u201cI hate to break it to you, but that Cheryl doesn\u2019t exist anymore,\u201d Burke shared. \u201cMy face has changed because I\u2019ve changed. I\u2019ve experienced so much trauma, divorce, and this is by no means a pity party. Sobriety, burnout, reinvention, I\u2019ve healed, I\u2019ve lost, I\u2019ve grieved like anybody else.\u201d<\/p>\n

In August, the Emmy nominee revealed to Us Weekly that she\u2019d lost 41 pounds with the help of a portion-controlled meal plan from Z.E.N. \u201cI feel f\u2014ing great; my energy is on another level,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cThat 109 [pounds] doesn\u2019t matter \u2014 what matters is how I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Burke, who retired as a DWTS pro in November 2022, recently spoke with Page Six<\/em> about the challenges of being a judge and the backlash that often comes with scoring. As for Dupr\u00e9\u2019s viral jab, neither Burke nor Earle has publicly commented.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
