Celine Dion<\/strong><\/a> was forced to cancel the remainder of her world tour as the singer\u2019s ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome worsens, RadarOnline.com<\/strong><\/a> has learned.<\/p>\n Dion was diagnosed<\/strong><\/a> with the rare condition in December 2022 and revealed at the time that the progressive neurological disorder was slowly turning her into a \u201chuman statue.\u201d<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p> The 55-year-old \u201cMy Heart Will Go On\u201d singer\u2019s condition recently grew so severe that Dion was forced to cancel the remaining 42 dates of her Courage World Tour \u2013 a tour that was already interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again\u2026and even though it breaks my heart, it\u2019s best that we cancel everything until I\u2019m really ready to be back on stage,\u201d the singer announced on social media<\/strong><\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p> \u201cI\u2019m not giving up,\u201d Dion added, \u201cand I can\u2019t wait to see you again!\u201d<\/p>\n Dion\u2019s spokesperson further confirmed that the 42 upcoming shows scheduled between August and October 2023, as well as the shows that were set to begin again in March 2024<\/strong><\/a>, have been postponed.<\/p>\n As RadarOnline.com<\/strong><\/a> previously reported, Dion announced<\/strong><\/a> her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome in December 2022.<\/p>\n The condition has reportedly caused \u201csevere and constant\u201d<\/strong><\/a> muscle spasms that have prevented the Canadian hitmaker from performing.
