Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been moved to a different prison<\/p>\n
\nThe 55-year-old rap mogul had been behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn since being arrested in September 2024 but sources told People magazine that he was moved to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix early on Thursday (30.10.25) morning, where he will likely serve the remainder of his sentence.<\/p>\n
\nCombs was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and his legal team had requested he be moved to the facility in Fort Dix because of its access to drug rehabilitation schemes.<\/p>\n
\nHis attorney Teny Geragos had written in a court filing: “In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the court strongly recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix.”<\/p>\n
\nThe I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker had complained about the conditions in MDC and earlier this month, his friend Charliccu Finney claimed Combs had suffered a terrifying incident at the prison when he woke up “with a knife to his throat”. <\/p>\n
\nCharlucci told the Daily Mail online: \u201cHe woke up with a knife to his throat. I don\u2019t know whether he fought him off or the guards came, I just know that it happened.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nHowever, Charlucci believes the alleged incident was designed to scare the I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker, rather than hurt him. <\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cIf this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat with a weapon and kill him. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was probably a way to say, \u2018Next time you ain\u2019t gonna be so lucky.\u2019 Everything is intimidation. But with Sean it won\u2019t work. Sean is from Harlem.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe 60-year-old producer is constantly worried about his friend because he fears he will always be a target for fellow inmates. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: “Sean has kept a lot of this stuff to himself because he doesn’t want to worry his family. But if you’re in jail and you’ve been charged with anything sexual it’s not a good place to be. <\/p>\n
\n“The prisoners take it personal. They look at it like, it could have been my mom, my auntie, my daughter. They try to get what they call prison justice. <\/p>\n
\n“And you have to understand, we are not talking about a regular person. We’re talking about Diddy.” <\/p>\n
\nBut Charlucci is confident his friend is “unbreakable” and maintained his innocence. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: “All this stuff that came out, the drugs and the abuse, I wasn’t privy to that. Neither were his children. Around us Sean was a lovable caregiver, a father, brother, a best friend … I’m confident he’s gonna do whatever it takes to make sure he’s still Sean Combs when he comes out. He’s not gonna lose a step. Sean is unbreakable.”<\/p>\n
