Paul Rudd<\/a>, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison and the late Brittany Murphy, admitted she \u201cstupidly\u201d gave the clothes away years ago.<\/p>\nSpeaking while promoting her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy A Merry Little Ex-Mas, Alicia reflected on her time making Clueless and the unforgettable preppy fashion that defined her character, telling People: \u201cBefore I did Clueless, I really was a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl. <\/p>\n
\u201cI wasn\u2019t too into fashion at all.<\/p>\n
\u201cI ended up giving all the clothes away because I realized it was not working in my life. I gave them all away stupidly.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe lucky recipient of Cher\u2019s plaid skirts, matching blazers and knee-high socks, Silverstone said, was filmmaker Gia Coppola, the granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola. <\/p>\n
\nAlicia added: \u201cLord only knows what Gia\u2019s done with them. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cGia doesn\u2019t know where they are either, so she must have given them away, too. They all just are gone.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlicia added she briefly tried to emulate her Clueless character\u2019s stylish aesthetic after filming ended.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cAfter I did (Clueless) I thought, \u2018Oh, I want to have all these clothes, I\u2019m going to wear these clothes.\u2019 Which was a delusional idea because I was not like that girl. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWho\u2019s wearing Mary Janes and high stockings everywhere you go?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNearly 30 years after the original film\u2019s release, Alicia is preparing to reprise her role as Cher in a new sequel series currently in development at Peacock. <\/p>\n
\nSpeaking during an appearance on Today in August, she said: \u201cNot much,\u201d when asked what she could reveal, before adding about the project: \u201cI\u2019m really excited about it. I think we\u2019re going to try really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cThe goal is to make it honour what everyone loves about Clueless and Cher. So we want to honour that, but also bring something fresh and new to it. I\u2019m confident that we\u2019ll be able to do that, but we\u2019re in baby stages right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe sequel series was officially announced in April when Silverstone shared a post on Instagram featuring clips and GIFs from the original movie. <\/p>\n
\nShe wrote alongside a screenshot of Variety\u2019s report confirming the project: \u201cTotally buggin\u2019\u2026 in the best way,\u201d<\/p>\n
