Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> gets an icy reception from exes Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a> on Sister Wives<\/em><\/a> while trying to make small talk on a joint Zoom call.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, guys, how\u2019s it going?\u201d Kody, 56, asks Meri, 54, and Janelle, 56, in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek at the Sunday, November 2, episode of the TLC series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After receiving a \u201cgood\u201d from both of his ex-wives, Kody attempts to further break the ice by asking, \u201cWhat\u2019s going on? Anything exciting?\u201d<\/p>\n

There is an awkward silence from both women before they each shake their heads to signify nothing new has happened since they last discussed the sale of their family\u2019s Coyote Pass property<\/a>. (The trio, along with Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>, sold their land in Arizona in April after butting heads for years over the deal.)<\/p>\n

Kody then asks Meri specifically how her bed and breakfast is going, claiming it \u201clooks different.\u201d Meri remains short with her ex, replying, \u201cIt\u2019s the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Meri and Kody share awkward glances, Janelle looks off to the side in her Zoom window, choosing not to engage. Kody, however, doesn\u2019t give up and tries to pull something out of Janelle to no avail.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, how\u2019s it going, Janelle?\u201d he asks, to which she responds, \u201cGood. Everything\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKody Brown\u2019s relationships with Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown have all had their ups and downs \u2014 but many Sister Wives viewers were shocked when nearly all his wives started to leave him. TLC fans were introduced to the Brown family in 2010 when he was legally married to Meri and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When Kody inquires about whether Janelle has \u201cheard any good jokes lately,\u201d she quips, \u201cNo. I live with children. They don\u2019t tell very funny jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kody counters, \u201cI live with children and they tell funny jokes.\u201d Janelle, however, doesn\u2019t bite, responding, \u201cMine are younger,\u201d seemingly referring to her grandchildren who are under the age of 10.<\/p>\n

Meri, for her part, takes a big gulp from her straw before the awkward conversation<\/a> comes to an end.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJanelle Brown\u00a0had a meeting of the \u201cex-wives club\u201d with\u00a0Meri Brown\u00a0on the latest episode of\u00a0Sister Wives\u00a0where they took jabs at ex-husband\u00a0Kody Brown\u00a0and his \u201ctype.\u201d During the Sunday, October 5, episode of the TLC series, Janelle, 56, called Meri, 54, to discuss the selling of their Coyote Pass property, claiming Kody, 56, didn\u2019t want to phone Meri [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what happened with Meri because I remember helping her move to her place in Parowan, Utah, and he is all fun and games and cordial,\u201d Kody tells the cameras after the uncomfortable exchange. \u201cSince then to now, it\u2019s [gotten] weird as \u2026 I can\u2019t even say words about how weird it\u2019s gotten.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meri, meanwhile, reveals in her own confessional that since moving away from Kody and his fourth wife, Robyn, 47, she had to \u201cdraw some really hard boundaries<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

She explains that Kody being \u201call friendly and trying to act like things are normal\u201d after previously saying negative things about her and her friends didn\u2019t sit well. \u201cThat\u2019s not going to fly,\u201d Meri adds.<\/p>\n
