Reports have been swirling that Prince William<\/strong><\/a> met with his cousins Princess Beatrice<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/strong><\/a> regarding their father Prince Andrew<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s decision to move out of Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n

However, Us Weekly<\/em> understands that the meeting never actually took place.<\/p>\n

Journalist Emily Maitlis<\/strong> \u2014 who famously interviewed Andrew, 65, for the BBC\u2019s Newsnight<\/em><\/a> in 2019 \u2014 was first to bring up the alleged meeting during the Monday, October 27, episode of \u201cThe News Agents\u201d podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n

She speculated during the episode that William, 43, offered an alleged ultimatum to Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35.<\/p>\n

Maitlis, 55, claimed that William put \u201cpressure\u201d on his cousins.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018You guys have got to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge, otherwise we will start reexamining the state of your own titles,\u2019\u201d she alleged that William told them. \u201cObviously, you can see why Andrew, as a father, would want to kind of keep his daughters happy and keep their titles in place, come what may.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the week has continued, several royal sources have offered multiple outlets more insight into what actually went down as the fallout from Andrew\u2019s decision to give up his royal titles continues.<\/p>\n

One royal source called reports of the meeting \u201cnonsense\u201d to Page Six<\/em><\/a> earlier this week. \u201cAnyone who knows William knows he is not that venomous and is fond of his cousins,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

A second insider noted that William \u201ccannot take anybody\u2019s titles away\u201d when addressing Maitlis\u2019 claims.<\/p>\n

Royal watchers have been anxiously awaiting a decision to be made about Andrew\u2019s living arrangements as his connection to late convicted billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> continues to make headlines.<\/p>\n

Andrew has been living rent-free in Royal Lodge for 22 years. While no decision has been made just yet, it\u2019s been widely reported that Andrew is in talks to move out of the home.<\/p>\n
