Writer-director Scott Cooper also weighed in on Faye\u2019s creation. \u201cFaye (Odessa Young), the film\u2019s fictional girlfriend, who\u2019s a composite drawn from various real-life relationships, gives Bruce a St. Christopher\u2019s medal \u2014 which Springsteen happens to wear in real life to this day,\u201d Cooper told Rolling Stone<\/em>.
