Elaine Hendrix<\/strong><\/a> is giving an update on when she\u2019ll return to Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/a> rehearsal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hendrix, 54, announced via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday, October 29, that she\u2019s recovering from the injury that sent her to the hospital earlier this month, and shared her and partner Alan Bersten<\/strong>\u2019s plans before the next live show.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHi, everyone! Doing a check-in to let you know that I\u2019m doing OK,\u201d Hendrix said in a video message, with Bersten, 31, by her side. \u201cI am up and about. I am tender. I am sore. But I\u2019m starting pain management today.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She explained, \u201cI\u2019m not dancing today. I\u2019m not dancing tomorrow. We\u2019ll be back at it Friday, and I\u2019m just getting ready to be in that ballroom next Tuesday.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDancing With the Stars pro Alan Bersten is grateful to be continuing on in the competition after partner Elaine Hendrix\u2019s hospitalization. \u201cYou guys voted, we are going to be safe. We got another dance to [perform],\u201d Bersten, 31, said during a TikTok Live with girlfriend Emma Slater after the Tuesday, October 28, Halloween Night episode. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chiming in, Bersten added, \u201cWe just wanna say thank you so much for voting for us. And showing so much love to Elaine. And the support. We can feel it and we appreciate it so much.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s palpable,\u201d Hendrix agreed. \u201cAll of your messages, I\u2019m seeing it all. And I just want you to know that, first and foremost, I\u2019m OK.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hendrix was hospitalized<\/span><\/a> after she experienced rib pain during rehearsals for Halloween Night earlier this week. In an Instagram update on Tuesday, October 28, she revealed that she injured her ribs while dancing to Wicked<\/i>\u2019s \u201cDefying Gravity\u201d on the ABC competition series days prior. When she rehearsed with Bersten later, her ribs \u201cjust seized up.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tElaine Hendrix\u2018s absence from the Dancing With the Stars ballroom was felt on Halloween Night after she was rushed to the hospital. While introducing the remaining couples at the top of the Tuesday, October 28, episode, cohost Alfonso Ribeiro pointed out that Hendrix, 54, and pro Alan Bersten were missing from the lineup. \u201cI couldn\u2019t move. They brought me to the hospital,\u201d Hendrix explained at the time. \u201cThe doctor has said that with a day or two of rest, I should be able to continue and that\u2019s exactly what I want to do. I want to dance, I want to keep doing this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cut to Wednesday\u2019s update: Besides announcing that she and Bersten will be back in business come Friday, she expressed regret over missing out on the Tuesday broadcast, in which Jen Affleck<\/strong> and Jan Ravnik<\/strong> were eliminated<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
