In the binary world today, you cannot hold two ideas at the same time,\u201d she continued, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot be Jewish and totally believe in Israel\u2019s right to exist and at the same time reject the destruction of Gaza. You can\u2019t say that, because you get vilified for having a mind that says, \u2018I can hold both those thoughts. If I was careful, I wouldn\u2019t have told you any of what I just told you,\u201d she explained. adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would have just said, \u2018Hi, welcome. I baked you banana bread. Here\u2019s my dog. Here\u2019s my house, blah, blah, blah. But I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected to his faith,\u201d Curtis remarked one week after Kirk\u2019s death, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven though I find what his ideas were abhorrent to me, I still believe he\u2019s a father and a husband and a man of faith, and I hope whatever \u2018connection to God\u2019 means, that he felt it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/10\/28\/celebrity-news\/jamie-lee-curtis-sets-the-record-straight-on-her-charlie-kirk-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Page Six<\/a> points out, Curtis faced immediate backlash on social media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou disagree with almost every point you heard him say but also believe him to be a man of faith?
