Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott are yet to plan their wedding<\/p>\n
The loved-up couple got engaged in August 2023, after four years of dating – but Jonathan admits that they haven’t yet made any meaningful progress with their wedding planning.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Us Weekly, the 47-year-old TV star said: “We don\u2019t have any updates yet. Yeah, we are the worst at planning that.” <\/p>\n
On the other hand, Jonathan suggested that he and his future wife are very capable when it comes to “planning other parties”.<\/p>\n
The Property Brothers star – who was previously married to Kelsy Ully, a WestJet crew scheduler, between 2007 and 2013 – said: “We\u2019re great at planning other parties.”<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this year, the celebrity couple claimed that they intended to get their wedding plans “figured out” in 2025.<\/p>\n
\nJonathan admitted at the time that they’d made very little progress with their wedding plans, explaining that they’d both been too busy to focus on their big day.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if they’ve made any progress with their plans, Jonathan told People: “I can guarantee you we have done absolutely zero percent more work. We’ve just had a lot of things going on.”<\/p>\n
\nPrior to that, Jonathan admitted that he wants to have an “intimate” wedding when they eventually tie the knot.<\/p>\n
\nThe TV star explained that the loved-up couple had a firm idea of what they want their wedding day to look like.<\/p>\n
\nHe told Us Weekly: “The ceremony and the pomp and circumstance, we\u2019ll get that out of the way, and then it\u2019s the reception. It\u2019s going to be a blast.”<\/p>\n
\nJonathan and the New Girl actress were “very different people” during their younger years. But he suggested that their interests and ambitions have become more closely aligned over recent times.<\/p>\n
\nThe reality TV star – who began dating Zooey after meeting her in 2019 – said: “I mean, we\u2019ve both been married before, but even when we were younger, you\u2019re looking for different things, and who knows what we were looking for at that time?”<\/p>\n
