Years after Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a> told fans to \u201cKill Em with Kindness,\u201d Grimes<\/strong><\/a> showed what that looks like in real time.<\/p>\n

The musician, 37, took to X<\/a> after seeing negative comments about Gomez\u2019s new music video for \u201cIn the Dark<\/a>,\u201d responding with empathy while calling the singer \u201cone of the most beautiful girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been [on] the internet for like 48 hours and despite minor benefits I might have to leave. Watched this Selena Gomez video, besides a few weird derp shots that ppl were able to clip and super misrepresent how she looks,\u201d Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) wrote on Saturday, October 25.<\/p>\n

The new song is featured on Nobody Wants This Season 2: The Soundtrack<\/em>, and is accompanied by a music video directed by Luke Orlando<\/strong>, in which Gomez, 33, rocks sleek and chic all-black monochromatic ensembles while singing about unconditional love.<\/p>\n

Grimes highlighted the impact of cruel social media comments, adding, \u201cHow do u think little girls feel reading stuff like this about another woman?\u201d She went on to detail how \u201cthis might be vaguely the second gen of women being allowed<\/a> to be over 30 in entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The songwriter slammed the \u201chigh school level bullying\u201d done by keyboard warriors, demanding that those accounts should be \u201csuspended for body-shaming en masse.\u201d<\/p>\n
