Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> is setting the record straight about her appearance, shutting down years of speculation once and for all.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old Euphoria<\/em> star revealed to Variety<\/em><\/a> whether she\u2019s ever undergone cosmetic work \u2014 and whether she\u2019d consider it in the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never gotten anything done. I\u2019m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I\u2019m going to age gracefully,\u201d Sweeney told the outlet.<\/p>\n

She also addressed the viral \u201ccomparison photos\u201d that often circulate online, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s really funny. I\u2019ll see things online like \u2018comparison pictures.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m 12 in that photo. Of course I\u2019m going to look different. I have makeup on now and I\u2019m 15 years older.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite her natural looks, Sweeney faced tough auditions as a teen from rural Idaho trying to make it in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have very strong eyebrow muscles,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cAnd I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I\u2019m not going to make it. I should get Botox. I was 16! Or I\u2019m in a casting and I\u2019m reading my scene and the casting director is eating a bag of chips, and I\u2019m like, \u2018You\u2019re not paying attention at all.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

While she\u2019s never gone under the knife, Sweeney revealed she once seriously considered a breast reduction. In a 2023 interview with Glamour UK<\/em>, the actress reflected on her teenage insecurities and admitted she felt self-conscious about her body in high school.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were, and I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller,\u201d Sweeney recalled. But it was her mother who persuaded her not to go through with it. \u201c\u2018Don\u2019t do it. You\u2019ll regret it in college,\u2019\u201d she said. She added, \u201cAnd I\u2019m so glad I didn\u2019t. I like them. They\u2019re my best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today, Sweeney is a vocal advocate for embracing your natural body and celebrating confidence over perfection. \u201cFlaunt what you got. Own it. Love them,\u201d she said. She acknowledged that she used to hide her body when she was younger, but over time, her self-assurance grew. \u201cEverybody\u2019s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you\u2019re happy within is when it really shows to other people,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
