Bloomberg<\/a> reported that the K-pop superstars are preparing for a massive 2026 world tour, expected to include around 65 shows worldwide \u2014 with more than 30 in North America alone. The tour will reportedly coincide with the release of BTS\u2019 new album, which is set to drop in March 2026.<\/p>\nIf the report proves accurate, it would mark BTS\u2019 most ambitious tour yet \u2014 surpassing their Permission to Dance on Stage run from 2021 to 2022, which drew more than 4 million fans across just 12 shows.<\/p>\n
However, the band\u2019s management company, Hybe\u2019s Big Hit Music, is already pushing back on the claims, telling fans not to get ahead of themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cDetails regarding the dates and scale of BTS\u2019 new world tour remain unconfirmed,\u201d Big Hit said in an official statement. \u201cThe dates you mentioned are not the latest number we are discussing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Still, excitement is at an all-time high as the countdown to the group\u2019s full reunion begins. Earlier this year, BTS confirmed they\u2019ll reunite in spring 2026 following the completion of all seven members\u2019 military service. During a Weverse livestream in July, the group announced that they are already in the early stages of working on their next album.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,\u201d the members said during the broadcast. \u201cStarting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas. We\u2019re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fans, who have waited more than two years for a group comeback, are ready for what\u2019s next. The Bloomberg report notes that the upcoming tour will promote the new album and could begin just weeks after its release \u2014 possibly making it the first full BTS tour in over four years.<\/p>\n
Big Hit hasn\u2019t confirmed any specific cities or venues yet, but insiders say the group is planning to record new music in the U.S. later this year before finalizing details for the global trek.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
